Jewellery
Distance often reveals what we hold dear. For me, it’s the ties to my homeland, Kenya. I created these pieces as a way of tending to those roots, and as an expression of belonging to a place that has given me so much.
The jewelry is created from recycled brass with accents of re-purposed cow horn. Molten brass is poured into a sand mould. Once it cools and hardens, the piece is cleaned and polished by hand.
